The Beverlywood Bakery first opened its doors to the public in 1946. For over six decades is has been a neighborhood favorite because of the steadfast commitment of its owners to produce quality breads and pastries while diligently adhering to the traditional Jewish recipes that were first used by the founders. Through the decades the business has remained within the family, while the product on our shelves has not changed, remaining as delicious and true to recipe as it was on the first day Beverlywood Bakery welcomed in its first customer. This devotion to tradition is a great source of pride in the Beverlywood bakery family, as we are unrelenting followers of the Jewish home made baking style. Our customers are as discriminating about what they eat, as we are about what we offer them, thus we use only the best quality ingredients in all our products. Our commitment to tradition does not prevent us from utilizing new technologies and ideas, as a result of which new products such as our wide selection of sugar free cookies and seven or nine grain breads become a welcomed addition to our shelves. The high quality of our breads has been recognized by generations of Los Angeles residents as well as dozens of businesses across the city such as Famous Rest, Nate'n Al, Factor's Deli, New's Room, Vons, Pavillions:etc. One of our signature items Is the famous challah, what makes it especially unique is that we offer a variety of sizes for thus delicious traditional breadloaf, varying from 2lbs size to 15lbs.These extra large challahs are perfect for celebrations, from office parties to weddings and bar/t mitzvahs, they look festive and taste delicious. In conclusion we wouldn't have lasted as long as we have if it wasn't for the loyal patronage of our customers, for which we are so thankful. |
